We have several no-cost programs designed to help our community members find and gain meaningful employment, including programs for those who are formerly justice-involved, looking for work, and struggling to find a job. Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties can help you find and maintain sustainable employment. We help people in our community who have criminal convictions (misdemeanor and/or felony) successfully re-enter the workforce and provide the tools you need to be successful. 

Services we provide:

  • Job preparation workshops and job skills training
  • Resume building and interview practice
  • Job placement and/or paid work experience
  • Certificate of program completion
  • Supportive services are available upon request on a per need basis and may include assistance getting uniforms or work clothes, tools, bus passes, gas money, and more.
  • We offer several trainings and certification opportunities designed to help you gain workplace skills in support of your career goals.

Eligibility:

Must be over the age of 18 with a misdemeanor and/or felony conviction and be able to provide right-to-work documents. Eligibility varies by program and other eligibility requirements may apply.
